Most apps match on what you look like and what you say you enjoy. Aavam matches on the things that decide whether two people can live alongside each other — how you handle conflict, how much closeness you need, how you respond when someone reaches for your attention.
Matching is the easy part. Almost every platform stops there, which is why people end up back in the same queue a few months later with no clearer idea of what went wrong.
The harder question is what happens on day ninety, when the differences that were interesting at the start have become the thing you argue about. That is the part Aavam is built for.
A short set of situational questions drawn from established research on personality, attachment, and conflict behaviour. Every answer is written to sound like a reasonable adult choice, so there is no obvious "right" one to perform.
You see few people, with an explanation of why each one. Interest is mutual and blind — nobody learns you were curious unless they were too.
When something goes wrong between two people, each of them can talk it through privately. The guidance you get is shaped by what we understand about the person you are with — not repeated to them, and never forwarded into your shared conversation.
Your assessment results are not visible to other people on Aavam. They are not visible on your own profile either. They exist to decide who you meet and to inform the support you are given, and nothing else.
We are testing with a small group before opening up. Leave your email and we will get in touch when there is something worth your time.
